Pallawa, a traditional village at Toraja

Imagine:
You live in one of those tongkonan (=house).
So you will get :
many bright stars in the night, clear sky in the noon, cool air without airconditioner, fresh air, fresh water, and many visitors!

Pallawa is located about 15 minutes drive from Rante Pao, the main city of Toraja.
The village is different from Ke'te Kesu, the most famous traditional village in Toraja.
Pallawa is more liked original village, because the 'tongkonan' house is really the house for the local residents. You can find dog, garbage, baby and the mother, smell of cooking food in this village...

Yes, many tourist comes to this village, and there is a souvenir shop to sell their made by hands product such as a weaving fabric, a mask, and many more.

And I and my friends get all the goods from Indonesian.... smile, free food, free'tongkonan' to sleep, and free hug from my Torayan friend's parents...

My feeling that morning on this village :
happy (dont know why) and very fresh body!
